By mid afternoon on Sunday, June 8th, it was scorching hot in the low 30s, but that didn’t faze the sporting spirit of teams mixed with members of the two lawn bowling clubs, Mann Park and Surrey. The first game was 10 ends. The second game (after a short sustenance of cake and ice cream) was only 8 ends due to the heat.

Thanks to the many members of Mann Park Lawn Bowling Club for visiting Surrey on this very hot Sunday in June and for making it a pleasant day of camaraderie and laid back competitive games.
