On September 23, 2018 our ladies team consisting of (left to right) Dorothy Bishop (skip), Pricilla Westlake (lead) and Carolyn Wheeler (third) won first place in the Vancouver & District Ladies Triples Tournament held at SLBC.

On September 11, 2018 our mixed team, consisting of Dorothy Bishop and Andy Kroontje, won first place in the Vancouver & District Mixed Australian Pairs Tournament held at the Langley Lawn Bowling Club.

On August 29, 2018 our mixed team of Dorothy Bishop (skip), Andy Kroontje (third) and Linda Duddek (lead) were awarded first place after the final game for the local Tri-Cities League. This league includes teams from Langley, Mann Park (White Rock) and Surrey Lawn Bowling Clubs.

BC Seniors Games Bronze medal winners. Our club members Carolyn Koehler (left) and Dorothy Bishop (right) won the bronze medal in the Ladies Pairs Lawn Bowling division at the BC Seniors Games held in Coquitlam in September 2016.

On August 21, 2016 our mixed team, consisting of Dorothy Bishop (skip), Andy Kroontje (third), John Duffield (second), and Connie Stunden (lead) won first place in the Vancouver & District Mixed Fours Tournament held at the Langley Lawn Bowling Club.

On August 17, 2016 our mixed team, consisting of Bonnie Wright (skip), Raymond Chan (third) and Liza Chan (lead) won first place at the Mayor’s Shield Tournament held at the Langley Lawn Bowling Club. Congratulations team!

Our SLBC won overall point totals and was awarded the Mayor’s Shield for 2016. SLBC has won this tournament for the past 2 years!

On August 11, 2016 our mixed team, consisting of Dorothy Bishop (skip), Andy Kroontje (third) and Linda Duddek (lead) were awarded first place at the wind-up for the local Twin-Cities League. This league includes teams from Langley and Surrey Lawn Bowling Clubs.
